Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Henk-Jan van Bommel kicked off to start the match. Niek Roodenburg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Bosman in the 5th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Henk-Jan van Bommel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Daniel Bosman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Henk-Jan van Bommel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rovert's supporters rose to their feet, but Henk-Jan van Bommel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arie Grommers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arie Grommers made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Mike Zeldenrust sent off a good shot on target. 31 minutes into the match, Rovert's goal looked a bit too open when Lex Schepers came free, but Niek Roodenburg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Lex Schepers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niek Roodenburg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 33rd match minute, Roeleveen Eendracht was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Dirks to maneuver through the defense. Rovert's Joris Luikens shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 34th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arie Grommers but with some difficulty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henk-Jan van Bommel in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arie Grommers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mike Zeldenrust could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Arie Grommers made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Daniel Bosman made the kick off in the second half. Lex Schepers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the match, Roeleveen Eendracht's goal looked a bit too open when Mike Zeldenrust came free, but Arie Grommers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mike Zeldenrust hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 67 minutes of play, Rovert's Mike Zeldenrust made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arie Grommers was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Henk-Jan van Bommel in the 73rd minute of play forced Roeleveen Eendracht's goalkeeper Arie Grommers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mike Zeldenrust sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rovert's Henk-Jan van Bommel got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mike Zeldenrust had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute Mike Zeldenrust shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arie Grommers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Roeleveen Eendracht's zone, Henk-Jan van Bommel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arie Grommers came out of the goal and Henk-Jan van Bommel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arie Grommers came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Rovert's Henk-Jan van Bommel. But to his dismay, Henk-Jan van Bommel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rovert had won after a very even match.
