Korona Kielce's Przemyslaw Bielecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans van Zijderveld in the 5th minute of play. Ferdinant Pluym fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donny Wit having to interfere. Frits Holthuis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Govert Savenije charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Govert Savenije the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 minutes of play, Bijvanck S.V.'s Frits Holthuis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Przemyslaw Bielecki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Donny Wit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jhon Pik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harm Booy's late challenge caught a Korona Kielce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harm Booy helped the player get up and apologised. Ferdinant Pluym received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Donny Wit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bijvanck S.V.'s goalkeeper Donny Wit, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hans van Zijderveld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Przemyslaw Bielecki having to interfere. Korona Kielce's Przemyslaw Bielecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frits Holthuis in the 38th minute of play. Harm Booy kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. If Frits Holthuis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Bijvanck S.V. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hans van Zijderveld was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frits Holthuis got free with Przemyslaw Bielecki in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ferdinant Pluym fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donny Wit having to interfere. Bijvanck S.V.'s Harm Booy got his second yellow card of the match in the 61st minute. The referee ordered Harm Booy off the ground. Harm Booy kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Govert Savenije was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 67th minute, Jhon Pik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Korona Kielce fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Jhon Pik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donny Wit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinant Pluym, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute, one of Korona Kielce:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Korona Kielce. 84 minutes into the game, Roderick Kregel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Korona Kielce's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bijvanck S.V. the free kick. Roderick Kregel hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Ferdinant Pluym got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jhon Pik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bijvanck S.V. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
