After having played for 15 minutes, Max Knuppel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Dordrecht's supporters crossed their fingers, but Max Knuppel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricky Haan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klaas Jan Hostede having to interfere. Klaas Jan Hostede made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ricky Haan sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Knuppel in the 24th minute of play forced Queen Eertje United's goalkeeper Mike Steyns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Max Knuppel might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mike Steyns. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Max Knuppel ran back to his position shaking his head. Niels-Jan Heuvel succeeded in the game's 26th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. If Niels-Jan Heuvel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
