Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Danny Aerssen kicked off to start the match. Wilfred Schuttrup made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Aerssen in the 3rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Geert Arend Theissen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilfred Schuttrup was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Serge Schulte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joeri Kok having to interfere. After 7 played minutes Heechterp got a freekick which was hit by Joeri Roewen. Jordy Ottens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Heechterp's goal looked a bit too open when Serge Schulte came free, but Joeri Kok reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joeri Roewen hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Jordy Ottens made a precise shot to the right of Joeri Kok. Heechterp's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Wilfred Schuttrup took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Aerssen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilfred Schuttrup showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geert Arend Theissen in the 18th minute of the match. Geert Arend Theissen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilfred Schuttrup read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. When Jordy Ottens fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Melik SV's protests and gave Jordy Ottens a yellow card for diving instead. Jordy Ottens hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Melik SV's goal looked a bit too open when Geert Arend Theissen came free, but Wilfred Schuttrup reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danny Aerssen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilfred Schuttrup having to make a save. If Geert Arend Theissen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Geert Arend Theissen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilfred Schuttrup made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Aerssen in the 39th minute of play. Wilfred Schuttrup showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geert Arend Theissen in the 40th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Melik SV's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Aerssen came free, but Wilfred Schuttrup reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfred Schuttrup took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geert Arend Theissen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Heechterp's Danny Aerssen got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serge Schulte to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Heechterp's Danny Aerssen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilfred Schuttrup made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Geert Arend Theissen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Wilfred Schuttrup made a huge save. The supporters of Melik SV booed when Heechterp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philip Plaggenborg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jordy Ottens might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joeri Kok. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jordy Ottens ran back to his position shaking his head. If Serge Schulte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Melik SV's goalkeeper Wilfred Schuttrup had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geert Arend Theissen. Geert Arend Theissen might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilfred Schuttrup. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geert Arend Theissen ran back to his position shaking his head. If Danny Aerssen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geert Arend Theissen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilfred Schuttrup having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Melik SV's Stef Tinselboer got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Geert Arend Theissen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Geert Arend Theissen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heechterp's supporters rose to their feet, but Geert Arend Theissen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilfred Schuttrup breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danny Aerssen in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilfred Schuttrup saved Melik SV from getting behind. After having played for 93 minutes, Geert Arend Theissen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heechterp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geert Arend Theissen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Melik SV's zone, Danny Aerssen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfred Schuttrup came out of the goal and Danny Aerssen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Heechterp were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Melik SV to leave the ground with a draw.
