Spectators: 6722 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 0) AFC Amsterdam's Bastiaan Pilage started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Bastiaan Pilage cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Leendert Sleiffer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bastiaan Pilage in the 7th minute of play forced Ledeakker S.C.'s goalkeeper Leendert Sleiffer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 8 minutes, Bastiaan Pilage managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Amsterdam's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bastiaan Pilage was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maarten de Vlieger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Leendert Sleiffer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bastiaan Pilage's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leendert Sleiffer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. When Bastiaan Pilage came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the AFC Amsterdam fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bastiaan Pilage couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Ledeakker S.C. getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Maurice Pieters hit a great ball. After 23 minutes of play, AFC Amsterdam's Maarten de Vlieger made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leendert Sleiffer was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Ledeakker S.C.'s zone, Maarten de Vlieger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leendert Sleiffer came out of the goal and Maarten de Vlieger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maarten de Vlieger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leendert Sleiffer having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Bastiaan Pilage got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Ledeakker S.C. booed when AFC Amsterdam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maarten de Vlieger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leendert Sleiffer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maarten de Vlieger, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 46th minute Bastiaan Pilage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leendert Sleiffer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bastiaan Pilage in the 48th minute of play forced Ledeakker S.C.'s goalkeeper Leendert Sleiffer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robin Beerthuis to make the kick off. Leendert Sleiffer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maarten de Vlieger in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bastiaan Pilage in the 60th minute of play forced Ledeakker S.C.'s goalkeeper Leendert Sleiffer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When AFC Amsterdam's Bastiaan Pilage in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bastiaan Pilage blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leendert Sleiffer having to make a save. With a little luck, Ledeakker S.C.'s Leendert Sleiffer got control of the ball when Maarten de Vlieger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bastiaan Pilage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Leendert Sleiffer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pieter van Zalen in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leendert Sleiffer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bastiaan Pilage in the 83rd minute of play forced Ledeakker S.C.'s goalkeeper Leendert Sleiffer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Maarten de Vlieger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Amsterdam's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maarten de Vlieger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leendert Sleiffer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bastiaan Pilage, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ledeakker S.C.'s Andreas Bekker got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded AFC Amsterdam left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ledeakker S.C..
