Erik Snoeks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arjan Verheije in the 11th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Domburg HC's goal looked a bit too open when Cor van Schaik came free, but Donald Oosterbaan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rinus Davids struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Erik Snoeks didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Domburg HC. Cor van Schaik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rinus Davids might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erik Snoeks. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rinus Davids ran back to his position shaking his head. 29 minutes into the game, Domburg HC's Rinus Davids nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Snoeks made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Rinus Davids who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Erik Snoeks when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 34 in the game by Rinus Davids from a close distance when the talented Erik Snoeks managed to make a qualified save. Add Deen Haag's players were relieved. Erik Snoeks didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rinus Davids went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rinus Davids got free with Erik Snoeks in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rinus Davids fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Snoeks having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rinus Davids to strike the kick off in the second half. Rinus Jongsma kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 55 played minutes, Domburg HC's Leendert Bijlsma shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Erik Snoeks came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Domburg HC reached it. Koos van Zwieten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Snoeks having to interfere. Domburg HC's Donald Oosterbaan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Schalkwijk in the 60th minute of play. Erik Snoeks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koos van Zwieten in the 67th minute of the match. Niels Jeronimus charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niels Jeronimus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Niels Jeronimus kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Erik Snoeks came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Domburg HC's Rinus Davids. But to his dismay, Rinus Davids quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Rinus Davids struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Erik Snoeks didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Domburg HC. Leendert Bijlsma took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erik Snoeks. Add Deen Haag's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Domburg HC's Rinus Davids in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 96th minute of the match Leendert Bijlsma sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erik Snoeks skillfully saved the ball. Domburg HC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
