Rogier Kooij received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Bertus Hoogsteen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Rogier Kooij came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Strijbeek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogier Kooij couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferry Melker in the 58th minute of play forced Kettingwier's goalkeeper Bertus Hoogsteen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Kettingwier getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Alwin Sturm hit a great ball. If Ferry Melker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luuk Wessels in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jack Tamminga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the match, Kettingwier's goal looked a bit too open when Ferry Melker came free, but Bertus Hoogsteen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Klaus Aalberts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Jack Tamminga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Kettingwier's goalkeeper Bertus Hoogsteen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bertus Hoogsteen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogier Kooij in the 84th minute of play. Jack Tamminga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luuk Wessels in the 88th minute of the match. In the 91st match minute, Strijbeek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogier Kooij to maneuver through the defense. Luuk Wessels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jack Tamminga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
