Folkert Robben fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred de Bruin having to interfere. Dirk Jan Scholte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joost Zijlstra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Dirk Jan Scholte struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Joost Zijlstra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for bk boys. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Huub van der Tol got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Leon Speelman charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leon Speelman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Folkert Robben fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred de Bruin having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in bk boys's zone, Folkert Robben stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fred de Bruin came out of the goal and Folkert Robben tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nico Zorge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fred de Bruin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Leon Speelman hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Fred de Bruin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Zorge in the 35th minute of play. Huub van der Tol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Joost Zijlstra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When bk boys's Huub van der Tol in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 59 minutes of play, bk boys's Huub van der Tol made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joost Zijlstra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fred de Bruin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Zorge in the 64th minute of play. With a little luck, bk boys's Fred de Bruin got control of the ball when Folkert Robben tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 68 played minutes, bk boys's Ton Pik shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joost Zijlstra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line.
