Oosterend RKSV were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after SNIPPE FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Folkert Mans took the corner. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Maurice Stout fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joost Zijlstra having to interfere. Bennie Sluis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico Zorge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th match minute, SNIPPE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fokke Ridder to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Oosterend RKSV booed when SNIPPE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Twan Severijnse didn't get a good kick on the ball. SNIPPE FC's Bennie Sluis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Zorge in the 66th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Oosterend RKSV's zone, Jaap Blaauwgeers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joost Zijlstra came out of the goal and Jaap Blaauwgeers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st match minute, Oosterend RKSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Zorge to maneuver through the defense. Joost Zijlstra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaap Blaauwgeers's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Maurice Stout struck a weak shot in the 78th minute.
