Dolf Brinker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Koen Beukers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Horn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregor Grommers to maneuver through the defense. Karel Hoezen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Bender in the 15th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Douwe Tamminga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Horn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douwe Tamminga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes in the game, Dennis Bender fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Karel Hoezen having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Dolf Brinker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Koen Beukers. Horn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dolf Brinker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ernest Otten sped through Horn's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Koen Beukers. Gregor Grommers hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Soepkippen's Floris Wagenaar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The Soepkippen fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Soepkippen's Dolf Brinker looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. If Dennis Bender had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karel Hoezen made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Douwe Tamminga sent off a good shot on target. Horn's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ab Sluis in the 42nd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dennis Bender made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Bender in the 52nd minute of play forced Soepkippen's goalkeeper Karel Hoezen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dennis Bender in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karel Hoezen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karel Hoezen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Bender, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Dolf Brinker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th match minute, Horn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregor Grommers to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Horn's goal looked a bit too open when Dolf Brinker came free, but Koen Beukers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Horn getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jelle Heck hit a great ball. When Horn's Dennis Bender in 76 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Karel Hoezen guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. If Dennis Bender had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Soepkippen's Karel Hoezen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douwe Tamminga in the 85th minute of play. Frits Oldenborger kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. The Soepkippen players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
