When Arjen Heulmann fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dunsborg SV's protests and gave Arjen Heulmann a yellow card for diving instead. 32 minutes into the game, Niels van Halst cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jacob de Zaaijer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 36 minutes, Niels van Halst managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sari Kanarya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niels van Halst was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Bruno Heuvel made a precise shot to the right of Jacob de Zaaijer. Dunsborg SV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The Dunsborg SV players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sari Kanarya were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niels van Halst to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Bruno Heuvel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacob de Zaaijer. That made the score 0-3 in the 52 minute of play. Christijan Platvoet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domenik Beukers in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Niels van Halst got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute Frank Meppelink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christijan Platvoet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Domenik Beukers in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christijan Platvoet saved Sari Kanarya from getting behind. Niels van Halst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Pierre Rieks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Heuvel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sari Kanarya's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
