Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Henk Denneboom made the kick off which started today's match. Jacco Koerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bill van Zijderveld having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacco Koerts in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bill van Zijderveld prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olof Velez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Riemer Molnar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Wanneperveen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yorrick Bos to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as nieuw ajax's Olof Velez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Riemer Molnar. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. Bill van Zijderveld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Floris Driessens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olof Velez struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Riemer Molnar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for nieuw ajax. After a defensive mix-up in nieuw ajax's zone, Henk Denneboom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bill van Zijderveld came out of the goal and Henk Denneboom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bill van Zijderveld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacco Koerts in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Olof Velez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Riemer Molnar. Olof Velez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. If Dirk Visscher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wanneperveen's goalkeeper Riemer Molnar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Wanneperveen getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Yorrick Bos hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Floris Driessens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bill van Zijderveld having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, nieuw ajax's Olof Velez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Riemer Molnar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 67th minute, Klaas Jan Klompe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olof Velez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Riemer Molnar having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Wanneperveen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yorrick Bos to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th match minute, nieuw ajax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arjan Kostermans to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, Wanneperveen's Arjen Reitsma broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 89 minutes, Dirk Visscher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. nieuw ajax's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dirk Visscher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dirk Visscher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Wanneperveen's Bill van Zijderveld threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Henk Denneboom, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 98th match minute, nieuw ajax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arjan Kostermans to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of nieuw ajax booed when Wanneperveen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacco Koerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The nieuw ajax fans cheered their team off the field, for while Wanneperveen had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
