In the 14th minute, Dirk Schuurman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Roland Israel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martien de Vlieger. Aufwiederschnitzel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roland Israel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of Aufwiederschnitzel booed when Langelille was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Gerfen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Timmermans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Riemer Vonk having to interfere. Riemer Vonk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dirk Schuurman in the 29th minute. Dirk Schuurman took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Riemer Vonk. Riemer Vonk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 36th minute of the game, Dirk Schuurman landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 37 minutes into the game, Geale Andriessen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Langelille's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aufwiederschnitzel the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Langelille fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Aufwiederschnitzel a penalty, 40 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Johan Dalman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Langelille's Riemer Vonk. 2-2. Pieter Haas struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Riemer Vonk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aufwiederschnitzel. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After having played for 52 minutes, Marcus Timmermans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aufwiederschnitzel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Timmermans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 56 minutes of play, Langelille's Roland Israel made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martien de Vlieger was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Martien de Vlieger managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Langelille's Govert Huisingh fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marcus Timmermans charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcus Timmermans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, Marcus Timmermans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Marcus Timmermans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Timmermans in the 77th minute of play forced Langelille's goalkeeper Riemer Vonk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Langelille's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Timmermans came free, but Riemer Vonk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aufwiederschnitzel's Marcus Timmermans got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcus Timmermans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pieter Haas might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Riemer Vonk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pieter Haas ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcus Timmermans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Riemer Vonk having to interfere. Martien de Vlieger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Govert Huisingh went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. Although Aufwiederschnitzel had been in control for most of the match, Langelille still came away with the win.
