Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pepijn Dekens made a kick off. Pepijn Dekens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Kluivert having to interfere. Hubert Kluivert made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Fabiën Som sent off a good shot on target. Bert Robbermond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Nick Schokkenbroek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bram de Jong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
