Angelo Ivey made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Jan Spijker sent off a good shot on target. Lukas HC's Jan Spijker got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Twan Barendregt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boukjan Ros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joris Sloothaak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Ivey having to interfere. Victor Hofmeester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Ivey having to interfere. Angelo Ivey didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 19th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Jan Spijker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lukas HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Spijker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Ivey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angelo Ivey had great luck who in the 29thth minute grab hold of the ball when Arno Meijering from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Jan Spijker's late challenge caught a Bemmel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan Spijker helped the player get up and apologised. Lukas HC's Twan Barendregt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cobus Hertog in the 35th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Arjen Dijkstra notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Lukas HC's Twan Barendregt. Twan Barendregt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joris Sloothaak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Angelo Ivey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Arno Meijering made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Boukjan Ros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Twan Barendregt was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When Jan Spijker was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. Jan Spijker kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Bemmel's Cobus Hertog broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 59 minutes into the match, Bemmel's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Hofmeester came free, but Angelo Ivey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lukas HC's Arno Meijering got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Hofmeester in the 66th minute of play forced Bemmel's goalkeeper Angelo Ivey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elbert Vonk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelo Ivey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arno Meijering, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Arno Meijering had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Boukjan Ros made a precise shot to the right of Twan Barendregt. Lukas HC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 80 minutes into the match, Lukas HC's goalkeeper Twan Barendregt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boukjan Ros. In the 82nd minute Lukas HC were awarded a corner. Arno Meijering went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Victor Hofmeester almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bemmel's Angelo Ivey did a great save. After a rather tough play, Lukas HC's Raymond Naaijer got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute Joris Sloothaak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Ivey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Lukas HC's Victor Hofmeester sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelo Ivey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Lukas HC booed when Bemmel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Peter Nyemanting didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Lukas HC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Bemmel to win.
