In the 24th minute Jouke Engelaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theo Ros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Cramer got free with Jan-Willem Ruiter in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Vinkenkade's Jouke Engelaar in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vinkenkade's supporters rose to their feet, but Bob Beuk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theo Ros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 71 minutes into the match, Vladimir Hermes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Theo Ros. Barrier's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vladimir Hermes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 75th minute, Vinkenkade's Vladimir Hermes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. 80 minutes into the match, Vinkenkade's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Cramer came free, but Jan-Willem Ruiter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bob Beuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Ros having to interfere.
