Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rudolf van den Brink started the match with the kick off. Harold Hulscher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jouke Engelaar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harold Hulscher stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bob Beuk's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Vinkenkade's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolf van den Brink came free, but Jan-Willem Ruiter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rudolf van den Brink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudolf van den Brink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ron Bulder kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Bob Beuk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vinkenkade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bob Beuk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bob Beuk struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Harold Hulscher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vinkenkade. Harold Hulscher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jouke Engelaar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34th play minutes Bob Beuk shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Harold Hulscher and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bob Beuk in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harold Hulscher saved Egede from getting behind. Jouke Engelaar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Harold Hulscher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harold Hulscher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Beuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Filip Onrust charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filip Onrust the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute, Filip Onrust hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 48 played minutes Egede got a freekick which was hit by Filip Onrust. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The supporters of Vinkenkade booed when Egede was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ron Bulder didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Vinkenkade's Vladimir Hermes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harold Hulscher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 61 played minutes Egede got a freekick which was hit by Johan Stevens. In the 70th minute, Stefan Reitsema hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vinkenkade's Jan-Willem Ruiter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Stevens in the 88th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Vinkenkade's Vladimir Hermes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harold Hulscher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Harold Hulscher didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladimir Hermes went, in the 99th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. When the match was over Vinkenkade could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Egede throughout the match.
