Pieter Gerfen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim Wagemakers in the 25th minute of the match. Pierre Dussel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Wilmink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pieter Gerfen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Wagemakers, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Folkert Lodewijks charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Folkert Lodewijks the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zoelmond RKSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tim Wagemakers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 45 minutes, Bram Helwig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hebrecht and the Zoelmond RKSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Hebrecht was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bram Helwig to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on Zoelmond RKSV's corner Antoon Hermensen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pieter Gerfen quite easily take care of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Hebrecht's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Wagemakers came free, but Pieter Gerfen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Zoelmond RKSV's Antoon Hermensen got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 89th minute, Mathias van der Leegte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vincent Wilmink got free with Pierre Dussel in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zoelmond RKSV's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
