In the 6th minute, Philip de Boer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Egbert Zuid kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute of the match Billy van Putten sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bart Nijhof skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Bruchem booed when Molenvliet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dick Opdam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bart Nijhof stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Philip de Boer's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. With his leg Wessel de Rudder managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Molenvliet's Joris Gentenaar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 18th minute of the match Billy van Putten shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bart Nijhof showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Egbert Zuid got his second yellow card in the match during the 19th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Egbert Zuid kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Bart Nijhof came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Bruchem's Philip de Boer. But to his dismay, Philip de Boer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gert Owusu Abeyie during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th minute, Gert Owusu Abeyie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philip de Boer in the 27th minute of play forced Molenvliet's goalkeeper Bart Nijhof to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard de Zaaijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Bart Nijhof tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Philip de Boer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bart Nijhof was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 34thth minute of the game Richard de Zaaijer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Molenvliet's Bart Nijhof was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bart Nijhof came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Bruchem's Richard de Zaaijer. But to his dismay, Richard de Zaaijer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Joris Gentenaar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Molenvliet's supporters rose to their feet, but Joris Gentenaar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wessel de Rudder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute Richard de Zaaijer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bart Nijhof saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bart Nijhof stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Philip de Boer's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The Molenvliet players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bruchem were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Philip de Boer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Molenvliet got a freekick which was hit by Philip Scholten. 55 minutes into the match, Molenvliet's goal looked a bit too open when Philip de Boer came free, but Bart Nijhof reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richard de Zaaijer came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bart Nijhof could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Molenvliet's Gert Talsma got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philip de Boer in the 60th minute of play forced Molenvliet's goalkeeper Bart Nijhof to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 played minutes Bruchem got a freekick which was hit by Billy van Putten. Tim Graaf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wessel de Rudder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Richard de Zaaijer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wessel de Rudder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joris Gentenaar in the 70th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richard de Zaaijer got free with Bart Nijhof in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Bruchem's Philip de Boer in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Molenvliet's goalie prevented a goal. Joris Gentenaar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Wessel de Rudder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philip de Boer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bart Nijhof having to interfere. A collision led to Bruchem getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Billy van Putten hit a great ball.
