The referee ignored Aviator Athletic's protests and gave Andres Geleberto a yellow card for diving instead. Andres Geleberto kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 32 played minutes ado den haag got a freekick which was hit by Julius Knopper. In the 34th minute, Aviator Athletic's Andres Geleberto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elroy Hesseling. Elroy Hesseling yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Elroy Hesseling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Geleberto in the 43rd minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Panagiotis Solakis made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Aviator Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Peter Dijken came free, but Peter Wilson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, ado den haag's Reinhard Heerspink seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Reinhard Heerspink the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ado den haag protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Reinhard Heerspink had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Geleberto in the 68th minute of play forced ado den haag's goalkeeper Elroy Hesseling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute Frits Derksen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elroy Hesseling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elroy Hesseling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Geleberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. ado den haag's Panagiotis Solakis got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the ado den haag defense, Frits Derksen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elroy Hesseling. The ado den haag fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elroy Hesseling should have stopped the shot. A well placed Panagiotis Solakis short distance shot in the 83rd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Julius Knopper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ado den haag's Elroy Hesseling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frits Derksen in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Hette Bergman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Andres Geleberto put it in 6-2 from a short distance just to the right of Elroy Hesseling. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Aviator Athletic had played much better football throughout.
