Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leendert Looze took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Djept! The referee gave AJAX a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dave Schokkenbroek, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Djept's Allard Winters. 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Ger Wansink had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eelco Ieberink. AJAX's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ger Wansink was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Eelco Ieberink was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leendert Looze showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 15 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Leendert Looze managed to get in a good position for a shot. Djept's supporters rose to their feet, but Leendert Looze was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eelco Ieberink breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Allard Winters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiel Arends in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AJAX's zone, Ger Wansink stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eelco Ieberink came out of the goal and Ger Wansink tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Niek Scheffer fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Djept's protests and gave Niek Scheffer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Niek Scheffer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute of the match, Ger Wansink got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eelco Ieberink was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Johannes Zeevenhoven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allard Winters having to interfere. After having played for 35 minutes, Leendert Looze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Djept's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leendert Looze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 36 played minutes AJAX got a freekick which was hit by Damien van der Haar. 37 minutes into the match, AJAX's goal looked a bit too open when Leendert Looze came free, but Eelco Ieberink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ger Wansink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eelco Ieberink made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Ger Wansink sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chiel Arends was the one to do the kick off. Johannes Zeevenhoven struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Allard Winters didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AJAX. Ger Wansink recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dave Schokkenbroek hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Djept were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after AJAX's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marick Brans took the corner. In the 71st minute, Niek Scheffer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johannes Zeevenhoven got free with Allard Winters in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chiel Arends fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allard Winters having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Djept's goalkeeper Allard Winters had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johannes Zeevenhoven. AJAX's Damien van der Haar got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leendert Looze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Eelco Ieberink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Djept's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Johannes Zeevenhoven fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ger Wansink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Jorn Ihselmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ger Wansink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Eelco Ieberink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, AJAX's goal looked a bit too open when Leendert Looze came free, but Eelco Ieberink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dave Schokkenbroek kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Leendert Looze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eelco Ieberink having to interfere. Djept were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of AJAX for a fine match.
