When Alexander Hoiting came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Gizmo United Gizzle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Hoiting couldn't finish the play. 14 minutes into the match, AC Sorriso's goalkeeper Iwan Zorge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Huub Hartlief. Ferry Velez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Robin Veltman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robin Veltman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koos Wessels in the 18th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes, Gizmo United Gizzle's Ruud Baan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iwan Zorge came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gizmo United Gizzle reached it. Gizmo United Gizzle were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after AC Sorriso's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabian Decheiver took the corner. Ronny Pals was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Robin Veltman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferry Velez in the 29th minute of the match. Robin Veltman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koos Wessels in the 33rd minute of play. Gizmo United Gizzle's Robin Veltman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koos Wessels in the 43rd minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ferry Velez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes AC Sorriso got a freekick which was hit by Tom Trenning. In the 54th minute of the match Gizmo United Gizzle got a corner. AC Sorriso's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabian Decheiver ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Gizmo United Gizzle's Fabian Decheiver to fire away a dangerous shot which Iwan Zorge despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ferry Velez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Koos Wessels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Veltman having to interfere. When AC Sorriso's Ferry Velez in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gizmo United Gizzle's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of AC Sorriso booed when Gizmo United Gizzle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Hoiting didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robin Veltman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferry Velez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Koos Wessels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Koos Wessels struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Robin Veltman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Sorriso. After 70 minutes of play, AC Sorriso's Jonathan Reiling made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robin Veltman was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Koos Wessels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferry Velez in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robin Veltman saved Gizmo United Gizzle from getting behind. Koos Wessels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Ferry Velez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Gizmo United Gizzle's Robin Veltman got control of the ball when Koos Wessels tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robin Veltman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferry Velez in the 85th minute of the match. Robin Veltman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferry Velez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ferry Velez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gizmo United Gizzle's Robin Veltman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Gizmo United Gizzle from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Gizmo United Gizzle's zone, Koos Wessels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Veltman came out of the goal and Koos Wessels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the match, Gizmo United Gizzle's goalkeeper Robin Veltman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Koos Wessels. AC Sorriso's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
