AC Sorriso's Koos Wessels got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 3rd minute, Teo van Dinteren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eelco van Zalingen hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the game, Ferry Velez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Wilfred Scholten was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of AC Sorriso booed when Elde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf de Swart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iwan Zorge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf de Swart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Elde's goal looked a bit too open when Ferry Velez came free, but Wilfred Scholten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferry Velez helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AC Sorriso's Ferry Velez got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Koos Wessels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 74 minutes of play, AC Sorriso's Ferry Velez made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilfred Scholten was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ferry Velez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfred Scholten having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Elde's Eelco van Zalingen got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Koos Wessels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Wilfred Scholten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AC Sorriso fans cheered their team off the field, for while Elde had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
