Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Donny Daalmeyer started the match with the kick off. When Dick Zwiers came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the F.C Montrex fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dick Zwiers couldn't finish the play. In the 4th minute, Foeke Reintjes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of F.C Montrex booed when Ens SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoon Ijsselhof didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donny Daalmeyer struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Frederik Scheffer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ens SV. 18 minutes into the match, Donny Daalmeyer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Frederik Scheffer, 1-0. Ens SV's Kenneth Barends played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dick Zwiers in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Ens SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Hoezen to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of F.C Montrex booed when Ens SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donny Daalmeyer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frederik Scheffer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donny Daalmeyer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. F.C Montrex's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Donny Daalmeyer scored to the left of an out of position Frederik Scheffer, making the score, 2-0. Kenneth Barends showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Westra, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute Donny Daalmeyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederik Scheffer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Dick Zwiers made the kick off in the second half. Donny Daalmeyer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donny Daalmeyer in the 65th minute of play forced F.C Montrex's goalkeeper Frederik Scheffer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dick Zwiers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frederik Scheffer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donny Daalmeyer in the 71st minute of play. F.C Montrex's Frederik Scheffer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donny Daalmeyer in the 73rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Donny Daalmeyer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frederik Scheffer was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Roland Westra hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pieter Warneke in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederik Scheffer saved F.C Montrex from getting behind. In the 88th minute, Pieter Warneke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donny Daalmeyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederik Scheffer having to interfere. Frederik Scheffer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Foeke Reintjes in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ens SV had played much better football throughout.
