Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Oscar Akkerman took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rik Schenkhuizen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Stijn Hof skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Akkerman in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stijn Hof prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rik Schenkhuizen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the game, Oscar Akkerman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stijn Hof. Oscar Akkerman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Oscar Akkerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Bavinkel's Gregor Riemers got a free kick in the 17th minute. Rik Schenkhuizen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stijn Hof having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan Zeldenrust during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bavinkel's Jan Zeldenrust got a free kick in the 19th minute. Rik Schenkhuizen struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Stijn Hof didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eesergroen S.V.. Rik Schenkhuizen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Stijn Hof when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Akkerman in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stijn Hof saved Bavinkel from getting behind. Rik Schenkhuizen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stijn Hof came out and tried to block the shot, but Rik Schenkhuizen slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rik Schenkhuizen got free with Stijn Hof in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rik Schenkhuizen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stijn Hof showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Akkerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Oscar Akkerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gregor Riemers to make the kick off. Stijn Hof showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rik Schenkhuizen, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Gregor Riemers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arno Hommes having to interfere. In the 66th minute Rik Schenkhuizen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stijn Hof saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 played minutes Bavinkel got a freekick which was hit by Jan Zeldenrust. Stijn Hof made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Akkerman in the 76th minute of play. Oscar Akkerman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Kristian Steyns came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Bavinkel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristian Steyns couldn't finish the play. When Oscar Akkerman fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eesergroen S.V.'s protests and gave Oscar Akkerman a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 played minutes Eesergroen S.V. got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Akkerman. The supporters of Eesergroen S.V. booed when Bavinkel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinant de Haan didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rik Schenkhuizen in the 93rd minute of play forced Bavinkel's goalkeeper Stijn Hof to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stijn Hof showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Akkerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Eesergroen S.V. had won after a very even match.
