If Ferdinant Latten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferdinant Latten took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elmar Roorda. Elmar Roorda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Medel's goal looked a bit too open when Frederik Evans came free, but Jelte Meijer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferdinant Latten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferdinant Latten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Elmar Roorda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Redichem FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinant Latten came free, but Elmar Roorda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferdinant Latten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Frederik Evans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jelte Meijer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A beautiful save bye Redichem FC's goalie prevented a goal. Elmar Roorda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Bernard, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Ferdinant Latten struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Elmar Roorda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Medel. Alexander Bernard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Elmar Roorda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timmie Sparnaaij kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frederik Evans was the one to do the kick off. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Redichem FC's Elmar Roorda got control of the ball when Alexander Bernard tried to sneak it across the goal line. Medel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Bernard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexander Bernard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Elmar Roorda made a huge save. Jelte Meijer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederik Evans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexander Bernard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elmar Roorda having to make a save. Medel's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
