Wim Blaauwgeers took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jan Heersprink. Roger FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Donny Zijden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan Heersprink showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donny Zijden, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donny Zijden in the 10th minute of play forced Roger FC's goalkeeper Jan Heersprink to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin de Visscher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Oosterwijk FC fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Oosterwijk FC's Donny Zijden looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Benjamin de Visscher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jan Heersprink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barry Wessel in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frits Veentjer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benjamin de Visscher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jan Heersprink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frits Veentjer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barry Wessel in the 31st minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Donny Zijden cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jan Heersprink was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Donny Zijden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jan Heersprink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donny Zijden made a kick off. The supporters of Roger FC booed when Oosterwijk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theo Velez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 minutes of play, Roger FC's Bart Krijnenburg made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frits Veentjer was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Donny Zijden in the 68th minute of play forced Roger FC's goalkeeper Jan Heersprink to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute Donny Zijden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Heersprink saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Barry Wessel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frits Veentjer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bart Krijnenburg in the 78th minute of the match. Bart Krijnenburg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frits Veentjer having to interfere. Vincent Eefting kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Peter Teuws was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roger FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oosterwijk FC the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Barry Wessel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roger FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Barry Wessel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frits Veentjer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donny Zijden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Roger FC's Mark Wibier got a free kick in the 97th minute. 98 minutes into the match, Benjamin de Visscher notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Roger FC's Jan Heersprink. Jan Heersprink was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
