Spectators: 7268 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Barry Wessel kicked off to start the match. After 8 played minutes Roger FC got a freekick which was hit by Mark Wibier. Harm Houwings short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Jan Heersprink to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Harm Houwing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Demy Borker hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 15th match minute, Roger FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robbie van Zalen to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Gerjan de Cock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gert Koeling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Bart Krijnenburg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rik Spanjer. World Football Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bart Krijnenburg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A hard shot 28 in the game by Harm Houwing from a close distance when the talented Jan Heersprink managed to make a qualified save. Roger FC's players were relieved. When Harm Houwing came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the World Football Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harm Houwing couldn't finish the play. Jan Heersprink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harm Houwing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bart Krijnenburg in the 41st minute of play forced World Football Academy's goalkeeper Rik Spanjer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Bart Krijnenburg made a precise shot to the right of Rik Spanjer. World Football Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Harm Houwing was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Harm Houwing managed to get in a good position for a shot. World Football Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Harm Houwing was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Heersprink breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes into the match, World Football Academy's goalkeeper Rik Spanjer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bart Krijnenburg. Roger FC's Tjeerd Bok shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 64th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rik Spanjer but with some difficulty. Jan Heersprink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harm Houwing in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, World Football Academy's goalkeeper Rik Spanjer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bart Krijnenburg. In the 73rd minute, Harm Houwing made a precise shot to the right of Jan Heersprink. Roger FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Rik Spanjer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barry Wessel, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Bart Krijnenburg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rik Spanjer having to interfere. With a little luck, World Football Academy's Rik Spanjer got control of the ball when Robbie van Zalen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jan Heersprink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harm Houwing in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barry Wessel in the 88th minute of play forced World Football Academy's goalkeeper Rik Spanjer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Roger FC's goal looked a bit too open when Harm Houwing came free, but Jan Heersprink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mirko Nijemanting recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harm Houwing blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan Heersprink having to make a save. When the final whistle went the supporters of Roger FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant World Football Academy side.
