Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ooi's Bruno den Hartog started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ronald Stolte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Mark Jurjens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Rekers might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mark Jurjens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Rekers ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Ronald Stolte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mark Jurjens was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. When Tomas Rekers came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Wissenkerke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Rekers couldn't finish the play. After 18 minutes, Gerrit Diggele mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wissenkerke and the Ooi players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute of the match Dirk Nedergaard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Coos Janssens skillfully saved the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Wissenkerke's Ronald Stolte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mark Jurjens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dirk Nedergaard in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Coos Janssens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ronald Stolte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno den Hartog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Bruno den Hartog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Coos Janssens having to interfere. Bruno den Hartog's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Coos Janssens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronald Stolte made a kick off. When Heiko Elders fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ooi's protests and gave Heiko Elders a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st match minute, Ooi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heiko Elders to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Ronald Stolte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mark Jurjens was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Ooi's Mark Jurjens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Stolte in the 60th minute of play. If Jan Dagelet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Ooi's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Stolte came free, but Mark Jurjens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wissenkerke's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
