Spectators: 6740 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 10) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ruben Plagge made the kick off which started today's match. If Lukas de Cock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th match minute, Baium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roeland Breinburg to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 8 minutes, Lukas de Cock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maliskamp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lukas de Cock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruben Plagge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frans Grasmaaijer came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Maliskamp's Ruben Plagge. But to his dismay, Ruben Plagge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Baium's Frans Grasmaaijer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas de Cock in the 15th minute of play. Lukas de Cock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruben Plagge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frans Grasmaaijer having to make a save. If Jan Hendrik Stekelenburg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Maliskamp's Tonnie Bouwman got a free kick in the 26th minute. Alex Oldenborger kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Falco Haan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerard van Dessel in the 30th minute of play. Marco Zeldenrust's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Falco Haan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. If Jan Hendrik Stekelenburg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Lukas de Cock managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maliskamp's supporters rose to their feet, but Lukas de Cock was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frans Grasmaaijer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roeland Breinburg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Falco Haan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marco Zeldenrust showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 47 minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Zeldenrust stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Baium got a freekick which was hit by Gerrit van den Akker. If Marco Zeldenrust had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tonnie Bouwman during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Plagge in the 66th minute of play forced Baium's goalkeeper Frans Grasmaaijer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maliskamp's goalkeeper Falco Haan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Lukas de Cock left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maliskamp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 74 minutes into the match, Marco Zeldenrust notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Maliskamp's Falco Haan. Falco Haan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Plagge in the 79th minute of play forced Baium's goalkeeper Frans Grasmaaijer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lukas de Cock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Frans Grasmaaijer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baium's Frans Grasmaaijer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Baium from getting a goal against them. Ruben Plagge succeeded in the game's 85th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. Rudi Blanker's late challenge caught a Baium's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rudi Blanker helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Maliskamp's zone, Jan Hendrik Stekelenburg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Falco Haan came out of the goal and Jan Hendrik Stekelenburg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruben Plagge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frans Grasmaaijer having to interfere.
