The wind increased when Filip Ponk made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match Jonathan Das shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johan Sluis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Johan Sluis acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 58th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jonathan Das. Alwin van de Meerakker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Johan Sluis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alwin van de Meerakker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Jim de Jaeger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Dijkhoek SC's Gert van Zeggeren tried to score from far away in the 83rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Alwin van de Meerakker's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Johan Sluis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alwin van de Meerakker might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Johan Sluis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
