An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Ricky Struik got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 86 minutes, Huub Alferink mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wacht and the Eindhoven United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute, one of Wacht:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wacht. Coos Telkamp shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Ricky Struik in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Egbert Dalmeijer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Eindhoven United's zone, Roger Hebert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Joost Ponk came out of the goal and Roger Hebert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
