A very good chance. 34 minutes into the game, Gregor de Boer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lutte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Putten HC the free kick. Putten HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathijs Eiting was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bertus Rodenberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lennart Bults struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Bertus Rodenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Putten HC. Bertus Rodenberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mathijs Eiting's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. When Putten HC's Mathijs Eiting in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lutte's goalie prevented a goal.
