After a rather tough play, Veuten's John Hemmen got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Teo Ijsselhof hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sipke Huisman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Ijsselhof in the 26th minute of the match. Fabian Mueller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Marcel Pik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 minutes, Gerald de Zaaijer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lochtenburg HC and the Veuten players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes Lochtenburg HC got a freekick which was hit by Gerald de Zaaijer. In the 44th match minute, Lochtenburg HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobus Opdam to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teo Ijsselhof to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Veuten booed when Lochtenburg HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerald de Zaaijer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game Emil Andriessen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Veuten's Marcel Pik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Florian Sans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcel Pik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Andriessen in the 96th minute of the match. Lochtenburg HC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Veuten for a fine match.
