An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Niekamp in the 3rd minute of play forced WIE IS DE WEERWOLF's goalkeeper Stijn Zuidema to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Pierre Bosma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Stijn Zuidema managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Roodenhoek's Pierre Bosma fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Stijn Zuidema made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erwin Roeles in the 28th minute of play. When Klaus van Olst came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the WIE IS DE WEERWOLF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klaus van Olst couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in WIE IS DE WEERWOLF's zone, Erwin Roeles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stijn Zuidema came out of the goal and Erwin Roeles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Klaus van Olst managed to get in a good position for a shot. WIE IS DE WEERWOLF's supporters rose to their feet, but Klaus van Olst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edward Ronde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, WIE IS DE WEERWOLF's Anton Beishuizen got a free kick in the 40th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erwin Roeles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erwin Roeles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stijn Planting fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Ronde having to interfere. When Stijn Planting came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the WIE IS DE WEERWOLF fans jumped to their feet. Pierre Bosma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Stijn Zuidema tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre Bosma in the 75th minute of play forced WIE IS DE WEERWOLF's goalkeeper Stijn Zuidema to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erwin Roeles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to WIE IS DE WEERWOLF getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jordi Rolink hit a great ball. Stijn Planting fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Ronde having to interfere. In the 90th minute Stijn Planting shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Ronde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stijn Planting might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edward Ronde. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stijn Planting ran back to his position shaking his head.
