In the 2nd minute, Filip Meurs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 3 minutes into the match, Ernst Bos notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Tefelen SC's Maurits Bust. Maurits Bust was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kristof van Steensel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute Kristof van Steensel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurits Bust saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristof van Steensel in the 13th minute of play forced Tefelen SC's goalkeeper Maurits Bust to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristof van Steensel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurits Bust having to interfere. Bob de Jong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurits Bust having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Tefelen SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Coenraad Douwes to maneuver through the defense. Tefelen SC's Maurits Bust proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Tefelen SC from getting a goal against them. Coenraad Douwes kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Tefelen SC's goal looked a bit too open when Kristof van Steensel came free, but Maurits Bust reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tefelen SC's Maurits Bust proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Tefelen SC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Tefelen SC's Filip Meurs got a free kick in the 31st minute. Ernst Bos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Maurits Bust made a huge save. 34 minutes into the game, Kristof van Steensel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maurits Bust. Kristof van Steensel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 39th minute, Pieter-Jan Dost hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hans Lyle's late challenge caught a VCZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hans Lyle helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 played minutes Tefelen SC got a freekick which was hit by Hans Lyle. When Bob de Jong came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the VCZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bob de Jong couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kristof van Steensel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bob de Jong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Maurits Bust tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maurits Bust showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristof van Steensel in the 60th minute of the match. Bob de Jong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurits Bust came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by VCZ's Bob de Jong. But to his dismay, Bob de Jong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Hans Lyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jelte Talsma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jelte Talsma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Coenraad Douwes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bob de Jong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Maurits Bust tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans Lyle hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 84 played minutes Tefelen SC got a freekick which was hit by Filip Meurs. The audience was convinced that Kristof van Steensel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurits Bust was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Kristof van Steensel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurits Bust having to interfere. If Kristof van Steensel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Bob de Jong left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VCZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When the referee ended the match the VCZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
