After a defensive mix-up in Galaxtixs's zone, Arjan van der Aa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Werner Anker came out of the goal and Arjan van der Aa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jouke Driel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Werner Anker having to interfere. Nico Hulsebos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Schutrups, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute of the match, Hugo Kruiswijk got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nico Hulsebos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hugo Kruiswijk in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nico Hulsebos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 22 minutes of play, Galaxtixs's Hugo Kruiswijk made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nico Hulsebos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nico Hulsebos made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Hugo Kruiswijk sent off a good shot on target. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Kruiswijk couldn't finish the play. Hugo Kruiswijk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Nico Hulsebos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arjan van der Aa kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Mark Schutrups fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Hulsebos having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mark Schutrups stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Wikel FC's zone, Hugo Kruiswijk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nico Hulsebos came out of the goal and Hugo Kruiswijk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bas Teunissen in the 56th minute of play forced Wikel FC's goalkeeper Nico Hulsebos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Wikel FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Joep Boon hit a great ball. Mark Schutrups blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nico Hulsebos having to make a save. Mark Schutrups received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Nico Hulsebos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 minutes of play, Galaxtixs's Hugo Kruiswijk made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Kruiswijk in the 82nd minute of play forced Wikel FC's goalkeeper Nico Hulsebos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Kruiswijk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Kruiswijk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Hulsebos having to interfere. Nico Hulsebos came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Galaxtixs's Hugo Kruiswijk. But to his dismay, Hugo Kruiswijk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. If Hugo Kruiswijk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Galaxtixs fully deserved thier win.
