Heiko Bijl hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Billy Cornelisse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Bunt having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Niawier Banino SC's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Cornelisse came free, but Andy Bunt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Falco Tamminga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave van Loen in the 10th minute of the match. When Niawier Banino SC's Reinier Wensing in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kapolder RKSV's goalie prevented a goal. Anthony Boersma hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Kapolder RKSV's goal looked a bit too open when Reinier Wensing came free, but Falco Tamminga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dave van Loen scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Falco Tamminga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 30 played minutes Kapolder RKSV got a freekick which was hit by Chiel Mueller. When Wilfried Wijker fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kapolder RKSV's protests and gave Wilfried Wijker a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kapolder RKSV getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Wilfried Wijker hit a great ball. Reinier Wensing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dave van Loen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Kapolder RKSV's zone, Dave van Loen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Falco Tamminga came out of the goal and Dave van Loen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Reinier Wensing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Billy Cornelisse to make the kick off. Reinier Wensing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Kapolder RKSV's goalkeeper Falco Tamminga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dave van Loen. In the 61st match minute, Niawier Banino SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heiko Bijl to maneuver through the defense. Reinier Wensing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Falco Tamminga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Kapolder RKSV getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Chiel Mueller hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Billy Cornelisse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kapolder RKSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Billy Cornelisse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andy Bunt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dave van Loen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falco Tamminga having to interfere. Kapolder RKSV's Falco Tamminga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Kapolder RKSV from getting a goal against them. Dave van Loen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 78th playminute. Falco Tamminga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinier Wensing in the 83rd minute of play. Dave van Loen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reinier Wensing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Kapolder RKSV fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Niawier Banino SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
