The supporters of Filippine booed when Ajax.FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Dijkman didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cobus de Vlieger came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Filippine fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cobus de Vlieger couldn't finish the play. In the 29th match minute, Ajax.FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernard Veenker to maneuver through the defense. Bennie Griemink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cobus de Vlieger in the 29th minute of play. Cobus de Vlieger struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Bennie Griemink didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Filippine. The wind increased when Cobus de Vlieger made the kick off in the second half. Marcel Andriessen kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Bennie Griemink stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cobus de Vlieger's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Filippine's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Breinburg came free, but Leon de Jager reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Cobus de Vlieger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bennie Griemink saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute of the match, Cobus de Vlieger tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bennie Griemink saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Bennie Griemink was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Cobus de Vlieger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Filippine's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
