Wilfred Ruiter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdi Olfers in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Jorwerd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Remmelts to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, FC stoeptegel's Max Jurjens ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sven Pilage. Sven Pilage yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Wilfred Ruiter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joost Opdam, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdi Olfers in the 34th minute of play forced FC stoeptegel's goalkeeper Wilfred Ruiter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Ferdi Olfers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfred Ruiter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joost Opdam stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilfred Ruiter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 56th minute, one of FC stoeptegel:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC stoeptegel. With a little luck, FC stoeptegel's Wilfred Ruiter got control of the ball when Ferdi Olfers tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sven Pilage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Peter Moermans in the 66th minute of play. After 67 minutes, Roland Remmelts mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jorwerd and the FC stoeptegel players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jorwerd's Roland Remmelts got a free kick in the 67th minute. Sven Pilage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Peter Moermans in the 69th minute of the match. A hard shot by Victor Carels from long distance, 73 minutes into the match, got Wilfred Ruiter's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ferdi Olfers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Wilfred Ruiter made a huge save. With a little luck, FC stoeptegel's Wilfred Ruiter got control of the ball when Ferdi Olfers tried to sneak it across the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Max Jurjens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC stoeptegel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jorwerd the free kick. Roland Nijemanting received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wilfred Ruiter came out and tried to block the shot, but Roland Nijemanting slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 82nd minute. Jan-Peter Moermans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Sven Pilage tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Ruud Aelbrecht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Peter Moermans in the 93rd minute of play forced Jorwerd's goalkeeper Sven Pilage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilfred Ruiter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Nijemanting in the 95th minute of play. Wilfred Ruiter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Nijemanting in the 96th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
