Hulsel's Tonnie Klasens got his second yellow card of the match in the 79th minute. The referee ordered Tonnie Klasens off the ground. In the 81st match minute, Hulsel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tonnie Klasens to maneuver through the defense. Klaas Klasens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinant Owusu Abeyie having to interfere. The supporters of Hengsdijk Excelsior booed when Hulsel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitrie Verweijen didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Hulsel's Ferdinant Owusu Abeyie got control of the ball when Klaas Klasens tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hengsdijk Excelsior's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
