Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Marco Snoeks started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. FC Doorn's Bram Hoogsteen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Meyer in the 4th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Ed Stuijvenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Doorn's Bert Dekkers couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Middele. Marco Snoeks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Floris Kauffeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tonnie Zomerdijk charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tonnie Zomerdijk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tonnie Zomerdijk hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Bram Hoogsteen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diderik Reis in the 14th minute of play. Diderik Reis charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diderik Reis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Middele getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Diderik Reis hit a great ball. Bram Hoogsteen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diderik Reis in the 18th minute of the match. After 20 minutes of play, FC Doorn's Daan Steelman made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Floris Kauffeld was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bram Hoogsteen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diderik Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Middele's Sjaak Genkenaar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bram Hoogsteen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A collision led to Middele getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Tonnie Zomerdijk hit a great ball. Marco Snoeks in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Floris Kauffeld, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 34 minutes into the game, Marco Snoeks cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Floris Kauffeld was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to FC Doorn getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Marco Snoeks hit a great ball. In the 38th match minute, Middele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tonnie Zomerdijk to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Tonnie Zomerdijk notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FC Doorn's Bram Hoogsteen. Bram Hoogsteen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Marco Snoeks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 49th minute of the match FC Doorn got a corner. Middele's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bert Dekkers ran over to the corner to take the kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diderik Reis made a kick off. Christijan Vorenkamp made in the 54th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dave Meyer. Dave Meyer took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bram Hoogsteen. Bram Hoogsteen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After 58 played minutes Middele got a freekick which was hit by Tonnie Zomerdijk. In the 63rd minute, Rien Zoontjens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Middele's Floris Kauffeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Snoeks in the 64th minute of play. Floris Kauffeld came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Doorn's Marco Snoeks. But to his dismay, Marco Snoeks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Floris Kauffeld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frits Zuidam, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Rien Zoontjens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Middele's Tonnie Zomerdijk got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Tonnie Zomerdijk off the ground. A sloppy throw-in by Christijan Vorenkamp in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Doorn's John Zuidema. In the 80th minute, Marco Snoeks ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Floris Kauffeld was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Middele's Floris Kauffeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Zuidema in the 91st minute of play. If Daan Steelman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Sjaak Genkenaar notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of FC Doorn's Bram Hoogsteen. Bram Hoogsteen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 98 minutes into the match, FC Doorn's goalkeeper Bram Hoogsteen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sjaak Genkenaar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
