Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Ruud Teesing started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Lucas van der Werff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without René Adelaar having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steven Bos got free with Martin Hulsebos in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Steven Bos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Martin Hulsebos made a huge save. Martin Hulsebos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Steven Bos's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Ruud Teesing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Duindorp's Rob Deijkers in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Meijel's goalie prevented a goal. René Adelaar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rob Deijkers in the 35th minute of the match. Meijel's Abraham Heck shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 43rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Martin Hulsebos but with some difficulty. Ruud Teesing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Martin Hulsebos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rob Deijkers to strike the kick off in the second half. Lucas van der Werff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Berend Klein hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. René Adelaar didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 61st minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. If Lucas van der Werff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Rob Deijkers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but René Adelaar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Rob Deijkers dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of René Adelaar, 0-2. Duindorp's Martin Hulsebos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruud Teesing in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Meijel's zone, Lucas van der Werff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. René Adelaar came out of the goal and Lucas van der Werff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rob Deijkers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rob Deijkers in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck René Adelaar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85thth minute of the game Rob Deijkers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meijel's René Adelaar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Meijel's René Adelaar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rob Deijkers in the 89th minute of play.
