FC Utreg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valkeveen VV the free kick. In the 4th match minute, FC Utreg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Hauvers to maneuver through the defense. Valkeveen VV's Joop Rogaars got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joop Rogaars struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Stefan Veltman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valkeveen VV. 9 minutes into the match, FC Utreg's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Luirink came free, but Stefan Veltman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10thth minute of the game Michel Luirink who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Utreg's Stefan Veltman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Utreg's zone, Michel Luirink stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Veltman came out of the goal and Michel Luirink tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alwin Knol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harris Fellinger, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Valkeveen VV's Alwin Knol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harris Fellinger in the 22nd minute of play. Dirk-Jan Mueller kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Harris Fellinger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Alwin Knol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eddy Idelberger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alwin Knol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Valkeveen VV's Jorn Terpstra got a free kick in the 28th minute. Alwin Knol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harris Fellinger's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. If Eddy Idelberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eddy Idelberger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Harris Fellinger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alwin Knol was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. If Michel Luirink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michel Luirink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Veltman having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Joop Rogaars made a precise shot to the right of Stefan Veltman. FC Utreg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Eddy Idelberger hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Michel Luirink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Veltman having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Eddy Idelberger managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Utreg's supporters rose to their feet, but Eddy Idelberger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alwin Knol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michel Luirink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Stefan Veltman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Utreg! 79 minutes into the match, FC Utreg's goalkeeper Stefan Veltman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joop Rogaars. 80 minutes into the match, Valkeveen VV's Joop Rogaars sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stefan Veltman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 81st minute Michel Luirink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Veltman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lukas Appeldoorn's late challenge caught a Valkeveen VV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lukas Appeldoorn helped the player get up and apologised. Lukas Appeldoorn hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Michel Luirink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Stefan Veltman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stefan Veltman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Luirink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valkeveen VV's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
