Ed Cardinaal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedele Alleva having to interfere. After some careless play in the Esch V.V. defense, Folker de Gooijer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stefano Meijeringh. The Esch V.V. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefano Meijeringh should have stopped the shot. Folker de Gooijer in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Stefano Meijeringh, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Leviathan FC's Lucjan Fronczak in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Esch V.V.'s goalie prevented a goal. Folker de Gooijer succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-0 in the 38th playminute. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Folker de Gooijer in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefano Meijeringh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Lucjan Fronczak sped through Esch V.V.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stefano Meijeringh. When Leviathan FC's Lucjan Fronczak in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Folker de Gooijer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefano Meijeringh having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Esch V.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Folker de Gooijer came free, but Stefano Meijeringh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 minutes of play, Leviathan FC's Lucjan Fronczak made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stefano Meijeringh was left in no man's land by his defense there! Folker de Gooijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Stefano Meijeringh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Leviathan FC were the better team. Leviathan FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
