Klaas Kristoffers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sjoerd Roetering went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivo Hoogsteen in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Klaas Kristoffers saved liam hanekamp from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as liam hanekamp's Dennis Bosma slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Geale Oosterbaan. That made the score 1-2 after 28 minutes of play. 33 minutes into the match, Sjoerd Roetering notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of liam hanekamp's Klaas Kristoffers. Klaas Kristoffers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sjoerd Roetering in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Klaas Kristoffers saved liam hanekamp from getting behind. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sjoerd Roetering was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Emil Heersprink hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 55 minutes, Ivo Hoogsteen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wedderheide's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivo Hoogsteen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute Sjoerd Roetering shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaas Kristoffers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Wedderheide's Karel Zevenberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Klaas Kristoffers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Timo Zijden kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. When Bart Klein came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Wedderheide fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bart Klein couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dennis Bosma in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geale Oosterbaan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Wedderheide had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
