Spectators: 7390 (Terracing: 5544, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Roland Zeijlemaker kicked off to start the match. After 7 minutes, Klaas Smits mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Chocomel and the Wise United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Klaas Smits kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 10th match minute, Wise United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denny Aerts to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Wise United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Zeijlemaker came free, but Dirk-Jan Barendregt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Chocomel booed when Wise United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karsten Kruijs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Klaas Smits took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dirk-Jan Barendregt. Wise United FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 19th minute Roland Zeijlemaker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dirk-Jan Barendregt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rudolf Pluym sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Evert Schaars managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wise United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Evert Schaars was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nigel Hardering breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wise United FC's Rudolf Pluym got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Roland Zeijlemaker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Evert Schaars ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nigel Hardering was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Dirk-Jan Barendregt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Zeijlemaker, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rudolf Pluym to make the kick off. Dirk-Jan Barendregt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Coenraad Hermensen in the 52nd minute. Roland Zeijlemaker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dirk-Jan Barendregt having to interfere. Evert Schaars recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Roland Zeijlemaker took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Dirk-Jan Barendregt to make any attempt to save it. Wise United FC's Evert Schaars got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wise United FC's Dirk-Jan Barendregt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Wise United FC from getting a goal against them. Rudolf Pluym received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Nigel Hardering tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Coenraad Hermensen managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Chocomel's supporters rose to their feet, but Coenraad Hermensen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dirk-Jan Barendregt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roland Zeijlemaker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Chocomel's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
