Werner Broerse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerard Visser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Asschot RKSV's Abdi Koçaslan got a free kick in the 5th minute. Henry Broos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rick Veninga in the 8th minute of the match. Niels-Jan Timmer made in the 10th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Meindert Zadelhoff. Rick Veninga scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henry Broos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th match minute, Asschot RKSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berry Mulders to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Rick Veninga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eijsden's supporters rose to their feet, but Rick Veninga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henry Broos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the match, Asschot RKSV's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Harms came free, but Henry Broos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Asschot RKSV's Henry Broos got control of the ball when Alberino Alamea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henry Broos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bjorn van der Wiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After some careless play in the Asschot RKSV defense, Rick Veninga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henry Broos. The Asschot RKSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Broos should have stopped the shot. After 30 minutes of play, Eijsden's Rick Veninga made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henry Broos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Henry Broos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rick Veninga in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Harms in the 36th minute of play forced Asschot RKSV's goalkeeper Henry Broos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Rick Veninga made a precise shot to the right of Henry Broos. Asschot RKSV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When Tomas Harms came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Eijsden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Harms couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Asschot RKSV's Berry Mulders got a free kick in the 41st minute. If Jens Bronkhorst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Broos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rick Veninga in the 46th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Eijsden's Henry Broos threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alberino Alamea, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Philip Scheer to make the kick off. A throw-in in the 51st minute of the game was made by Seyit Kızılaslan with Bjorn van der Wiel as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Henry Broos came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Eijsden's Tomas Harms. But to his dismay, Tomas Harms quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Henry Broos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rick Veninga in the 57th minute of play. Bjorn van der Wiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rick Veninga took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henry Broos. Henry Broos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 63 minutes into the match, Asschot RKSV's goal looked a bit too open when Rick Veninga came free, but Henry Broos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henry Broos came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Eijsden's Alberino Alamea. But to his dismay, Alberino Alamea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After 84 minutes of play, Eijsden's Rick Veninga made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
