Folker Jansen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martijn Meerdink in the 28th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Coos Zadelhoff during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Kwakel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Coos Zadelhoff to maneuver through the defense. Folker Jansen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Cruijff in the 34th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Jan-Peter Koekkoek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Folker Jansen. The Roestenburg FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kwakel were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Humberto Lavalle made a kick off. Rolf Kemper kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The supporters of Roestenburg FC booed when Kwakel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nigel Meijering didn't get a good kick on the ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Rolf Kemper heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Folker Jansen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
