Mart Borker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Cruijff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vrank's Mart Borker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martijn Meerdink in the 5th minute of play. Florian Cruijff struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Mart Borker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kwakel. With a little luck, Kwakel's Gerwin Hilkes got control of the ball when Domenik Franssen tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute, Martijn Meerdink left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kwakel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 19 minutes into the game, Vrank's Domenik Franssen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerwin Hilkes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 22nd minute Florian Cruijff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mart Borker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes Kwakel got a freekick which was hit by Martijn Meerdink. The supporters of Vrank booed when Kwakel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erben Poelman didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordi Fransen in the 29th minute of play forced Kwakel's goalkeeper Gerwin Hilkes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kwakel's Martijn Meerdink got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th match minute, Vrank was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lex Redan to maneuver through the defense. After 41 played minutes Vrank got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Ros. In the 57thth minute of the game Jordi Fransen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kwakel's Gerwin Hilkes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th match minute, Vrank was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Ros to maneuver through the defense. Jordi Fransen scored 2-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerwin Hilkes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gerwin Hilkes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenik Franssen, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute, Florian Cruijff made a precise shot to the right of Mart Borker. Vrank's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Martijn Meerdink kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Domenik Franssen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gerwin Hilkes. Kwakel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domenik Franssen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Lex Redan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerwin Hilkes having to interfere. Vrank's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Martijn Meerdink scored to the left of an out of position Mart Borker, making the score, 3-4. In the 93rd minute, Bram Klerk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kwakel played a much better game than Vrank and deserved their victory. The Vrank players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
